tasty treats for camping

morgan and i went camping this weekend for our one year!!! very exciting, but we made an awesome dessert: banana and chocolate chips

cut the banana in half (leave in peal)
fill with chocolate chips
wrap it in tin foil
and. . .
put in the camp fire for awhile.

i want to put peanut butter in it next time.
other options are small marshmallows.

andrew bird and st.vincent

andrew bird made a special visit to charleston on monday night, and the lovely St. Vincent opened for him.  the music is beautiful as well as the singer.  they ended the show with an amazing collaboration of the two bands and played scythian empires.
